Right now it is raining Methane on Titan. The planet Uranus is orbiting the sun sideways, while Venus spin backwards in comparison to the rest of our planets. Out their, there are stars exploding in supernova so beautiful not even our greatest storytellers could ever have foretold it, black holes are gorging themselves and galaxies are colliding with each other.
Here we sit on a planet bombared by debris, with just a lone satelite of rock as our only protection, rocked by earthquakes, devastated by storms. A planet doom to be fried in radiation as is magnetic fields collapse, up until the end when the sun grows into a red giant and leaves nothing of earth but dust.
Here we sit, glasses on our noses, inhalers in our pockets, braces on our teeth, waiting to die as our heart finally exhausts itselfs, our DNA unravels itself, blood vessels in our bodies just giving up and sometimes in unnatural ways, too.
Here we are on this rock, and some of us say, behold, lookat at the order of it all. Look at the intelligent design that must have been wrought to create this…
I say nay to these childish beleifs of an all knowing, all powerfull superior moral being is with us.
We were born too soon to explore the cosmos and too late to explore the earth. Our frontier is the human mind. Religion is the ocean we must cross if we wish to succeed in the future, for humanities sake we must let loose these shackles that bind government and scientific communities. As my dream is for one day a single copy of a polypeptide from within my DNA will venture into those stars within a descendant of mine. Although I will settle for humanity alone doing so.
